Frequently Asked Questions

Can I join if I'm a complete beginner?

Yes, absolutely! You don't need any previous knowledge of Spanish to start. In the first classes, we'll build the foundations together: basic vocabulary and structures you can begin using in real-life situations. I use English when needed, so you'll always feel supported as you learn. Classes are fully personalised around your goals, interests, and pace.

Will we focus on grammar, speaking, or both?

Both. Communication and structure go hand in hand.

The goal is for you to start speaking from the very beginning, using the language in real situations and building confidence as you go. Grammar appears along the way through short explanations and guided practice, always connected to what you are trying to say.

During activities, I usually note key points and we review them together afterwards, so you can understand your mistakes and try again.

Language and culture are also part of the same process, so vocabulary and structures are always explored within real contexts.

In what language are the classes conducted?

Classes are mainly in Spanish, but I use English when needed, especially at beginner levels, so you always feel supported and comfortable as you learn. As your confidence grows, Spanish naturally becomes the main language of communication in class.

How often should I take classes?

It depends on your goals, needs, and availability. I recommend a minimum of two 60-minute classes per week to maintain continuity, which is key for language learning. Of course, the schedule can be adjusted to fit your real-life availability, so you can keep progressing at a pace that works for you.

Can I book a trial class?

I don't offer free trial classes, but you're welcome to book a 15-minute consultation call to talk briefly about your goals, expectations, and how I work. It's a relaxed way to see if the classes are the right fit for you.

The first 60-minute class is a paid session designed as a diagnostic experience. We'll do guided activities to explore your current level, identify strengths and challenges, and start shaping a personalised learning plan. You'll receive feedback and suggestions on how to move forward with your Spanish learning.

Which platform do you use for classes?

Classes take place on Google Meet. I'll simply send you a link, and you can join from your computer, tablet, or phone. No complicated setup needed.

During the class we may work with shared materials and activities, and I'll send notes or resources afterwards when helpful.

How do scheduling and cancellations work?

Classes are scheduled in advance at a time that works for both of us. If you need to reschedule or cancel, just let me know in advance and we'll find another suitable time whenever possible.

A more detailed cancellation policy is available here.

How do I pay for classes?

Payments are made online using the available payment options indicated during booking. Once your class is confirmed, you'll receive all the necessary details.

Still have questions?

If you're curious about the classes or would like to talk about your goals, you're welcome to book a short consultation call. It's a simple way to see if the classes are the right fit for you.
